Women making history in Ukraine_

Last month, we celebrated Women's History Month. As the war in Europe progresses, we recognize the women making history today, who are influencing what life will look like in Ukraine and around the world.
Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield is the U.S. Representative to the United Nations. She is largely responsible for holding Russia accountable for the current actions its' leader is taking against independent, Ukraine. She is an experienced diplomat and stands for peace, freedom, human rights, and women's rights.
Ambassador Oksana Markarova is Ukraine's Ambassador to the United Nations. She has advocated for military, financial, and humanitarian support for the citizens of her country. Markarova has been instrumental in rallying the international community to Ukraine's aid.
